All the essentials of the intended game play loop have now been implemented!
This includes:
- Increased max stock for each type to 3.
- Letting a type sit in hand too long (unplanted) or fully rotted away in the garden (unpicked) decreases max stock by 1.
- Planting near the desired "heart" type can replenish 1 lost stock.
- Planting within range of the desired compass location can replenish 1 lost stock.
- The mini icons have been simplified to reduce information crowding and strain.
- The character portrait frames have been modified to become timing rings to force planting.
- Due to the importance of the timing ring in providing information, the opening screens now include an option to (hopefully) help with color-blindness accessibility.
Not yet included:
- A proper game over condition with an accompanying end screen and final score.
- A tutorial or in-game instruction screen(s).
- While the mini-icons now use a subtle visual flair, the effect has not yet been properly staggered.
